Learn all you need to know about lighting the fire, maintaining the fire and cooking up a vegan or vegetarian feast over an open fire. 'Why no meat?' I hear you ask. Well, where's the challenge in doing what's expected of you? Embrace the challenge of a new way of eating.

You will learn techniques such as hot smoking, cold smoking, charring, baking, roasting, baking in clay. There are downloadable shopping lists, recipes and lots of in-depth videos to guide you through your Fire & Feast.

Jackie is a lively and enthusiastic individual, who uses her obvious passion for learning in the outdoors to engage and inspire both children, adults and the occasional dog.

On paper, she is a qualified teacher, forest school leader and trainer, a skilled environmental educator, is a qualified Montessori practitioner and has a PGDip in Education.

Jackie has worked for many of Bristol's green institutions including the Avon Gorge and Downs Wildlife Project, Bristol Zoo and the Wild Place Project.

When she isn't Forest Schooling, Jackie can be found in the Wye Valley, generally getting muddy and enjoying the countryside.
